Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
By signing up for or using textMyAgent, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What textMyAgent is
textMyAgent is a text-message (SMS/iMessage) assistant that watches your email inboxes and manages your calendar. It surfaces important incoming messages from your connected email accounts, and it adds, moves, queries, and clears events on your connected calendars when you ask. You interact with it entirely by text; there is no app or dashboard.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for activity on your account and for the phone number and connected accounts you use. Keep your access secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for your own accounts and lawful purposes.
5. Connected accounts and authorization
When you connect an email account (Gmail / Outlook / Microsoft 365) or a calendar account (Google Calendar / Microsoft 365 / Outlook / Apple), you authorize textMyAgent to access that account through OAuth to provide the features you request — for email, reading and triaging your inbox, sending messages you direct, saving drafts, and marking messages read; for calendar, reading and writing events. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the account. You represent that you have the right to connect any account you add.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use textMyAgent to:
- send spam, bulk, cold, or unsolicited messages, or impersonate others;
- violate any law or any third party's rights;
- harass, threaten, or harm others; or
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
textMyAgent will not send cold or undirected email on your behalf, and every message to a third party is shown to you and confirmed before sending.
7. The assistant is AI — nature and limitations
textMyAgent uses artificial intelligence. While we work hard to make it accurate and reliable, it can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing important actions — especially outbound messages and calendar changes — before and after they happen. textMyAgent does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for a professional. You are responsible for your own communications and commitments.
8. Subscriptions, billing, trial, and refunds
- textMyAgent is offered as a paid subscription. Current pricing is $99 per year, billed annually.
- A 14-day free trial is offered. No credit card is required at signup. After the trial, the subscription begins only if you affirmatively continue.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service within 30 days of your first paid charge, contact us and we will refund that charge. Beyond that window, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
9. Messaging terms
By providing your mobile number you consent to receive service messages from textMyAgent. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to opt out at any time (this is immediate and permanent); text HELP for help.
10. Intellectual property
textMyAgent, its software, and its branding are owned by KJ Bucketlist Inv, LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Your content remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.
11. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties (including Google, Microsoft, Apple, Twilio, Sendblue, Stripe, and Anthropic). Your use of connected accounts is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KJ BUCKETLIST INV, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KJ Bucketlist Inv, LLC from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data-deletion provisions in the Privacy Policy apply.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute not subject to other agreed resolution.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we will post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by text or email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
